Under funds for the operation of public higher education establishments, the Republic of Croatia also allocates funding for students’ working and living standards in the state budget as follows:
- subsidized accommodation in student dormitories,
- subsidized student meals,
- students’ living and cultural standards,
- awarding state scholarships, and
- student programmes and projects.
