Central European Research infrastructure Consortium celebrates 10 years

The Central European Research Infrastructure Consortium - CERIC ERIC celebrated its first 10 years in Brussels on 21 November. The event was attended by representatives of the European Commission, Member States, leading European institutions and research infrastructures and provided a unique opportunity to discuss research infrastructure policies. Two panel discussions were held.

The first panel discussion focused on research infrastructure policy - reflection and further pathways, aimed at reviewing the achievements and impacts of research infrastructures, technological infrastructures and European Research Infrastructure Consortia (ERIC) and exploring different ways of improving their effectiveness.

The second discussion was held on the topic of improving science in CERIC ERIC- current successes and future potential. On this occasion, the scientific achievements and impacts of CERIC ERIC in the past decade were highlighted and challenges and opportunities to shape its future were discussed.
