Research Infrastructure Development Roadmap of the Republic of Croatia 2023-2027 Has Been Updated

In May 2026, the Minister of Science, Education and Youth adopted the updated Research Infrastructure Development Roadmap of the Republic of Croatia 2023-2027.

Research infrastructures are the foundation of excellent science, as they provide key services to research and innovation communities. They play a crucial role in extending the frontiers of knowledge and lay the foundations for research and innovation contributions aimed at addressing global challenges.

The Updated Research Infrastructure Development Roadmap of the Republic of Croatia 2023-2027 provides an overview of new investments, newly established national research infrastructures and new pan-European research infrastructures that the Republic of Croatia has joined. The thematic areas have also been aligned with the classification of thematic areas of the European Strategy Forum on Research Infrastructures (ESFRI).

The Roadmap is aimed at ensuring more effective and higher-quality management of research infrastructures and at strengthening the capacities and performance of the Croatian scientific community.
