State Secretary Iva Ivanković, PhD, participated in informal exchange of OECD Early Childhood Education and Care Network on Croatia's accession to OECD

At the meeting of the OECD (Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development) Early Childhood Education and Care Network held on 9-10 October 2024 in Paris, an informal exchange on Croatia’s accession to the OECD took place, with a technical review following the fact-finding mission and assessment of Croatia’s education system.

The OECD representatives briefly presented their preliminary observations and the analysis of Croatia's early childhood education and care system with respect to the reforms achieved. State Secretary Iva Ivanković, PhD, gave a presentation on Croatia’s early childhood education and care system and highlighted the current strategic initiatives and ongoing reforms.

Before the final discussion at the OECD Education Committee, Croatia still needs to participate in informal exchanges on primary and secondary education, higher education, vocational education and training and lifelong learning.
